"A worker at a Detroit Coney Island shot and killed a robber Sunday morning after the man walked into the restaurant with a gun and announced a robbery in front of customers."
"Police say the robber was an adult man who was attempting to rob the Pete's Grill and Coney Island at 1400 East Outer Drive on the city's east side."
"'Next thing I know, I saw everybody getting down on the ground,' said Robert Felton, of Detroit, who was inside the restaurant during the robbery. 'This guy was robbing the place. He had the gun on everybody. He was telling everybody, 'get to the register, I want the register.'"
"The employee shot the man, killing him." ... |

"Detroit homicide detectives are still investigating to make sure the evidence matches a self-defense shooting."
The shooting was Sunday morning. It's Monday. You have 20 eyewitnesses with unanimous confirmation as to the events.
WHY are you still 'investigating'? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
By calling attention to a well-regulated militia for the security of the Nation, and the right of each citizen to keep and bear arms, our Founding Fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny, which gave rise to the second amendment, will ever be a major danger to our Nation, the amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic military-civilian relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of the country. For that reason I believe the second amendment will always be important. --JOHN F. KENNEDY |
