The Ft.Hood Army Sgt who shot and killed a Black Lives Matter Protester last year is indicted for murder and Deadly Conduct.
Sgt. Daniel Perry turned himself in and has been released on bond.
Perry says he was dropping of a rideshare rider in downtown Austin when he found himself surrounded by BLM protesters who were rallying at the time.
He claims he shot and killed protester Garrett Foster as Foster allegedly raised an AK47 style rifle at him, Sgt. Perry says it was self defense. |

The guy he shot pointed a rifle at him. If that doesn't constitute self defense then self defense no longer exists. Is he supposed to wait until the perp shoots him?
It's hard to believe this is happening in Texas, but Austin is a very liberal city where they would like to persecute anyone that is conservative.
He needs to request a change in venue. Any counties in Texas except Travis and Bexar counties they understand self defense and they are not out to persecute conservatives. |

I don't know the state of Texas's SYG law, but there seems to be a lot of questionable indictments there. |
