These bills, no matter in which state they're presented, should pass and be enacted as soon as they hit the floor of the legislature. Leave no time for the mischief-makers to obstruct them. There is a lesson in the way the Democrats rammed through the ACA. They locked Republicans out of the committees who wrote the bill, didn't allow any floor debates, and passed it in the dead of night without even one Republican vote.
Two can play that game. Pass these bills immediately, and shove the Democrats aside. |
