This warning went out 3 years ago. It was written using excerpts from
the Federalist Papers, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. It caused the greatest stir of any warning the NC has used. In fact, one Legislature turned it over to their State Capitol Police for investigation. They contacted us, and, after explanation and citations, apologized, and left us alone. BUT - the event does emphasize the fact that the government is NOT accustomed to the
notion that the people are mandated to, can, and will revolt. Yet in a nearby state a legislator read it on the floor in the fight to stop gun-control.
This warning also recently precipitated Geocities.com to remove the North Caucus

A Warning To The Republic
from the North Caucus of America
When, in the course of human affairs......the disease spoken of by the founders of the nation manifests itself throughout the republic, it is time to consider the future of the people.
If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exercise of that original right
of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government, and which against the usurpations of the national rulers may be exerted
with infinitely better prospect of success than against those of the rulers of an individual State. In a single state, such as California,
if the persons intrusted with supreme power become usurpers, the different parcels, subdivisions, counties, boroughs, or districts
of which it consists, having no distinct governments in each, can take no regular measures for defense. The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms, without concert, without system, without resource; except in their courage and despair. The usurpers, clothed with the forms of legal authority, can too often crush the opposition in embryo.
The smaller the extent of the territory, the more difficult will it be for the people to form a regular or systematic plan of opposition,
and the more easy will it be to defeat their early efforts. Intelligence can be more speedily obtained of their preparations and
movements, and the military force, now well trained in urban military actions (SWAT, etc.) in the possession of the usurpers can be more
rapidly directed against the part where the opposition has begun. In this situation there must be a peculiar coincidence of
circumstances to insure success of the popular resistance. Modern expositors have said that "Guerilla Activity is a form of suicide."
It is interesting that, under these circumstances, the founding fathers concluded that the State
governments would, in all possible contingencies, afford complete security against invasions of the
public liberty by the national authority. Scratch that notion! The several state governments are in league with the tyranny bent
upon the destruction of the Republic, and the melding of its populace into a slavish world order.
The founding fathers even took into consideration when a time would arrive that the federal government would raise and maintain an
army capable of erecting a despotism over the great body of the people of an immense empire, who are in a situation, through the medium of their State governments, to take measures for their own defense, with all the urgency, regularity, and system of independent nations. Anticipating that occasion may be likened to considering a disease for which there can be found no cure in the resources of argument and reasoning.
That would, obviously, lead us to conclude that the cure must be in taking a stand NOW, indicating to the despots and tyrants of this
nation now emboldened by their control of the press, schools, judges, and legislatures, that there may well be no alternative but to take
to arms and defend ourselves from the perfidy of the pseudo-monarchy now in full bloom.
Taking a 'stand' now does NOT include appeasement, or being content with the tantalizing shards of peaceful
coexistence on the part of Congress, legislatures, municipalities and media which so seem to tantalize the National Rifle Association and other fire-arms owners associations. Taking a 'stand' means not accepting anything except the 2nd Amendment and laws that punish those who seem unable to accept the responsibility of properly enjoying that and all the other unalienable rights that are identified to us by our Founding Fathers.
It is well to consider that we were so encouraged by all the founding fathers. We shan't spoil your attention by delving into myriad citations, for the Internet has been echoing with those very quotations, in the hands of potential patriots, from all corners of the continent.
May each of us have the help of our personal "Greater Power," as we help ourselves. Should we fall, we shall find ourselves surrounded
by such a great multitude of faces past, that we will glow like the stars in the night skies. A far better end than to swim in the darkness
planned for us by the despots now festooned across the globe, and infesting our legislatures.
Should we give up, we can stand with our heads bowed before the angry specters of those who gave their lives for this nation, listening to their grim admonition from
"Flander's Field:"
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Sincerely,
C. Joyce II
