MacDonalds
Fires Hero
by

When
Willie Lee saw three criminals robbing a MacDonalds, he didn't just watch. He
took action. Using his privately-owned gun, he took on the bad guys and wounded
two of them.
The two were later taken into custody. The
third is still at large.
No doubt about it, Willie Lee is a hero. He
exposed himself to danger to put an end to an armed robbery. No charges were
filed against Willie Lee, but the MacDonalds where he worked apparently has a
twisted view of heroism. For his effort in foiling the robbery, MacDonalds has fired
Willie Lee from his job. This is the gratitude that MacDonalds apparently
extends to employees who risk their personal safety to protect other employees
and customers.
Perhaps MacDonalds would prefer the example of
a recent New
York Wendys robbery? There, seven
people were methodically shot in the head during a robbery. Five died. I'm sure
they would have loved to have a Willie Lee on their staff. Perhaps they would be
alive today.
Remember that next time you feel like scarfing
up some fast food. MacDonalds fired a man who stopped a crime and
probably saved innocent lives!
For my money, the shakes are better at Burger
King, and Wendys beats MacDonalds hamburgers all hollow. But if your kids are
addicted to the Clown, just tell them, "MacDonalds is bad. Their
restaurants are unsafe and they don't care if you die." Kids have to
learn sooner or later that some clowns are Bozo, and others are John
Wayne Gacy.
