The
"News" That Isn't
by Angel Shamaya

As each day goes by and I hound out the
national press for gun-related items, I continue to laugh at just how moronic
the anti-Constitution, anti-self-defense, self-preservation-defiant scabs really
are. Below are a few examples of hilarious "news" items, just
for a giggle.
Broken
Record Brady
Sarah Brady, socialist "leader" of
Handgun Control, Inc. just released "survey"
results on USNewswire. The survey was done on 800 suburban housewives,
according to her amusing "news release." Her
"findings" indicate that history-ignorant bleeding heart liberal
socialists consider the gun issue to be an important one in the coming election,
but the "news" release suggests that tapping the minds of
issue-confused people is somehow a cross section of the citizenry at
large. Comrade Brady wants to cut off private sales, first through gun
shows, she wants to make sure the "assault
weapons" ban sticks, and she wants to make certain your guns are
mandated to be unusable due to triggerlocking. So she holds up 800 people
who prefer to pick up their daily mental programming on the anti-gun evening news
than to actually invest time discovering that Sarah Brady has lies on her own
transparent website. This "news" isn't news, it's a joke.
Lawbreaking
Public Servants Get Sued by NRA
The NRA is suing the city of South Miami for
edicting that stored guns within city limits must be triggerlocked and thus
useless as self-defense devices. The state of Florida long ago settled the
matter of jurisdiction over firearms-related rules and laws. But in the
county overshadowed by County Mayor Alex Pinelas, apparently the dim bulbs there
don't feel a need to acknowledge state law. In the good ole days, somebody
with sense would've taken Pinelas out back to teach him some respect, but these
are "more enlightened times," so we will settle for watching the NRA
trounce the little fella. When they are through with him, state preemption laws
everywhere will have one more case to hold up when the next communist tries to
force his or her Stalinist agenda on a local American community. May it
sting, Alex. And, by the way, you sure did take exception to the federal
government stealing Elian out of that home not too far from where you
live. Ever wonder why so many people resist the feds on gun control?
You might consider getting some information from the side that isn't funded by
big business and money stolen through taxation without representation;
you're on the wrong side. Meanwhile, enjoy the NRA thrashing...
Travelers
Can Carry Self-defense Devices Through Denver, but Locals Can't
When God was passing out brains... You
know, I can't help but wonder how Denver residents feel about the fact that Joe
Schmo from Anystate, USA can carry a gun past their house but they as local
residents in this "safe" city cannot carry a self-defense device for
which they are fully trained to the same convenience store where 4
"men" gang raped a woman last month. Bringing forth this
peaceable journey law was a move in the right direction, of course, but these
folks actually held firm to the fact that they must prohibit locals from
carrying self-defense devices "to curb gang-related activity."
To date, have we ever met a violent criminal that follows the law? You
good cops in Denver, let the obviously lawful people go if they are carrying.
Think of that woman up your way who just got gang raped, and be cool about
self-preservation for God's sake. You are not required to enforce a WRONG
law; you are required to uphold the Constitution.
"Goods
for Guns" in Durham, North Carolina
This weekend residents of Durham can turn in
stolen, beat up rusty crime weapons and get $100 vouchers they can use to
purchase goods. Anyone with a total piece of junk that still fires a
projectile can take some of the local taxpayers' monies from the disarmament
crowd. Anyone with some extra money who'd like to outbid the government
may have a few choice guns from which to choose.
