The Bethlehem Morning Call reports that we had 1000 people lining the bridge
between Allentown and Bethlehem as compared to the "Million" Moms 75
marchers. I was there. We had twice that number lining the bridge -- and our
2000 pro-self-defense activists followed us over to a rally afterwards --First
Freedom, Rally in the Valley -- where I, Kenn Blanchard, Sheriff Richard Mack,
and Maria Heil of the Second Amendment Sisters spoke.
George W. Bush is campaigning in Allentown today. I'm sure his advisors
regularly tell him that polls show the American people want more gun control.
Somebody needs to show him this article so he'll finally see the difference
between what people actually believe and what the media's push polls distort for
news reports. Then, maybe, Bush won't be afraid to confront Al Gore, who is
pushing new firearms restrictions, and say during one of the debates, "All
gun-control burdens imposed on law-abiding citizens increase violent crime by
disarming only potential victims, shifting the balance of power to the illegally
armed criminal and terrorist."
He can then refer them to http://www.gunclock.org/
for the facts which support that statement.
