More Military Ballots Arrived Too Late

Report from U.S. Soldier Stationed in Okinawa

Angel Shamaya, KeepAndBearArms.com:  Following is a letter received by an American father from his son on the afternoon of November 8, 2000. His son is stationed in the Army in Okinawa. Names are withheld to avoid any potential backlash from commanding officers who might for some bizarre reason be sympathetic to Goretler.

Dad,

Sandy [name changed] and I applied for my ballot through [state] division of elections about 3 months ago. However I haven't seen the stacks of the federal absentee ballot applications this year. I also talked with my Marine neighbors and their ballots just arrived this week... but too late to be returned to the U.S.

So if you weren't proactive like I was, you could have had a difficult time voting.

This further confirms what WorldNetDaily.com reported: U.S. military personnel were not given full and easy access to cast their votes -- most likely -- for Bush.

We reiterate our earlier call to the Bush camp: Do NOT concede to that rat without investigating the absence of military absentee ballots and then only after a full and thorough investigation into the voting of illegal aliens.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
The essence of constitutionalism in a democracy is not merely to shape and condition the nature of majorities, but also to stipulate that certain things are impermissible, no matter how large and fervent a majority might want them. — George Will
