For the next two Saturdays (Nov. 11th and 18th) demonstrations, dubbed "Counter Coup," will be held all across the country by Constitutionally illiterate partisans of Al Gore.

The goal of these demonstrations is to influence Electors of the Electoral College to dishonor their vow to do their duty for the citizens who elected them by casting their votes for Al Gore, despite the outcome of the general elections in their individual States.

This election is razor thin. Should Bush hold Florida, finishing with 271 Electoral votes, a shift of only 3 Electors will give Gore the Presidency!  And they call their group "Counter Coup"! Even if you don't personally support George W. Bush, this cannot go unchallenged!

Our organization exists to defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights.  Well, folks, this is it. The Constitutional outcome of this election may well hinge on the actions of those of us willing to make our voices heard - in the streets, in letters and phone calls to newspapers, radio stations, TV stations, and our elected representatives (especially Democrats).

After you have joined, you can use the search feature to locate messages pertinent to your area.

Please. If at all possible, get a sign and show up to counter these protests. And remember... let's keep it verbal; physical confrontations are not going to help us in the battle for American minds.

NOTE: Keep in mind that many county and municipal jurisdictions prohibit the carrying of concealed weapons at public demonstrations, protests and rallies. Check before you go! If the way the anti-self-defense people are behaving in Florida is any indication, they would love to find a reason to get ugly. Don't give them one.
