"...while it may seem far-fetched today that the UN could force ever U.S. citizens to turn over their arms, the current gun control conference could be planting the seed for such tyranny in decades to come. UN supporters like to ridicule the notion that the UN represents the beginning of one-world government, but what other label can be applied to an organization that seeks global laws, global courts, centralized legislative power, and a worldwide army?" --U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) |

"The US official report to this body does not represent the thinking of the American public. It is a minority position of a minority government. I am here to set the record straight because many polls conducted in our country are very clear on this point. The majority of my fellow citizens favor better regulation of guns, including licensing of gun owners, registration of guns and closing the gun show loophole that allows criminals and minors to get weapons." --Mary Blek, "Leader of the MMM" |

"I had an argument a few days ago with my brother, a police officer who agrees with me on firearms ownership (we're for it) ... Despite a refreshing outlook on this and other issues, my brother sees nothing wrong with stopping you or me, in his official capacity, and expecting to be presented with some document establishing that the government approves of our existence." --L. Neil Smith |

"'A NATION OF COWARDS' was first published in 1993 as an essay in a journal called The Public Interest. Now the author, Jeff Snyder, has published a book that will be mandatory reading for those who enjoyed the original essay. It is titled Nation of Cowards and is available from Accurate Press (800.374.4049). The new book includes the namesake essay and many more that examine the ethical and moral roots of the right to keep and bear arms." --Dr. Michael S. Brown |

The city of Escalante, Utah, is thinking about making gun ownership mandatory, something that environmentalists see as a thinly veiled threat.
Supporters say such laws are intended to make a clear statement about Americans' individual right to bear arms.
But critics say the law is intended to warn environmentalists that they should stop misusing federal and state laws to restrict the use of private and public land.
~Hello? I think these "Environmentalists" need some mental help. |

ABC slams CCW. There was more balance to this show than I expected, but we still come off for the worse.
Of course, right afterward, my local news reported that an armed criminal had been shot by a good citizen. |

In this sick, hate filled article, if you took out all the times John Douglas used the words, "gun toter," "gun carrier," etc., and replaced it with a derogatory term for blacks, Jews, gays, Latinos, etc., the article would still make sense.
KABA NOTE: The publication would also be lambasted for bigotry. You can contact Mr. Douglas at jdouglas@gr-press.com or the paper at pulse@gr-press.com |
